Sunday 16 December saw the first confirmation service in the new St Matthew's Cathedral, Antsiranana, built earlier this year. Two of the technicians who worked on the building came to faith at that time and were among those confirmed.

Fourteen clergy were ordained in the Cathedral of St Matthew on Sunday 2 December 2007. Earlier that same day, the foundation stone was laid for a new Pastoral and Theological Centre next to the Cathedral.
